Yasaman Avazpour
Yasaman Avazpour is an Experienced Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500, YACEP) who has been teaching yoga since 2010 and serves as a lead Teacher trainer in Yoga Alliance approved programs. She holds a Master’s degree in Physiology , with extensive training in yoga anatomy ، has dedicated her work to bridging scientific understanding, embodied movement awareness, and lived experience within yoga practice.
Over the years, more than 600 students have graduated from her teacher training programs, and she has facilitated a wide range of teacher trainings, workshops, and classes in various parts of the world. Her educational path emphasizes depth, practical application, and a realistic understanding of the human body.
Through years of teaching and training, she has learned that every body is unique and that sustainable progress occurs when practices are designed with respect for individual anatomy, capacity, and real-life conditions. For this reason, her teaching approach is rooted in safety, nervous system regulation, and gradual, sustainable growth, rather than pressure, comparison, or chasing predefined shapes.
Alongside physical practice, meditation and yoga philosophy play an integral role in her teachings. She views yoga as a path for cultivating awareness, observing the mind, and developing a more compassionate relationship with oneself. Philosophical teachings are presented in a practical, accessible way, allowing students to integrate them directly into everyday life.
Her teachings, workshops, and educational programs have supported many practitioners in developing a deeper understanding of yoga, health, life, and the true source of inner calm and joy.
Her areas of expertise include Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha, Yin Yoga, Applied Yoga Anatomy, Trauma informed yoga, Meditation, and Sound Healing. In her classes and trainings, she integrates Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, breathwork, targeted drills, and meditation techniques to create practices that are scientifically informed, safe, sustainable, and deeply regulating.
The intention behind this path is for yoga to be experienced not only as a practice on the mat, but as a tool for greater awareness, inner balance, mental clarity, and an improved quality of life—a path grounded in kindness, presence, and respect for both body and mind.
